Help at Fund Raising Events.

Help transporting hedgehogs from finders who do not have transport.

Care of Hedgehogs with skin problems (after training) – the hedgehog may need to be inside the house – and will need baths and oral medication.

Caring for more sick hedgehogs (after training). The hedgehogs would need to be in the house.

Hand rearing orphan hedgehogs (after training). The hoglets are fed and kept in the house and are fed 24 hours a day, sometimes every 2 hours. This is a big commitment.

Hedgehogs are always released, if possible, where found, so these animals would not be released into your garden. If at any stage you are worried about the animal in your care, we are here to help you 24/7.

All equipment and food will be provided, but the equipment will remain the property of Hedgehog Welfare and is to be used for hedgehog rehabilitation only.
